More About Me

Born and raised in the Jacksonville North Carolina area and holding degrees from NC State University in finance and accounting, and a graduate degree in Real Estate Finance from Johns Hopkins Business School, Zach brings a fresh perspective to his residential and commercial real estate clients.

Experience/Expertise

With an education in Accounting, Finance, and Real Estate, Zach brings a great head for numbers and business. He has lived in many major cities, including Miami, LA, and New York City, gaining experience in financial analysis, land development, business operations and property management. A naturally curious person, he has enjoyed exploring a variety of real estate related positions, before returning to the NC coast and settling in Wilmington. He obtained his North Carolina real estate license in 2023 and will focus on commercial real estate, as well as residential.

“I understand developers and investors. I know what they are looking for and can project the costs going into a project.” He loves the challenge of large projects, the many moving parts, and is very detail oriented. He understands that the commercial real estate market is dynamic, and that staying ahead of the curve is imperative. With his in-depth market research and analysis, his clients are empowered to make informed decisions, ensuring that every move is a strategic one.

Values/Family

Born and raised in Jacksonville by a single mother and business owner, he learned the value of treating people well, being honest and fair in all things, and to strive to always be a contributing member of society.

Zach enjoys spending time on or near the water – boating, beaches, and sunshine – especially with his amazing dog, Percy. The friendly, diverse, and open minded people make the area culturally interesting, filled with great restaurants, businesses, and entertainment. Zach feels the Wilmington area is especially well-suited to all ages and life stages, from families, to young adults, to retirement – with activities to meet the desires of any lifestyle. He says, “It’s a great place to buy or start a business, the area is growing!”

Working with BHGRE Treasure

Family connections brought Zach to Treasure initially, but it is the culture that really impressed him. Zach says, “There is room to explore your career opportunities and grow into leadership roles. You are allowed to be yourself. Excellence is expected but you are encouraged not to take yourself too seriously.”

Special Qualities

Using his experience of relocating many times and immersing himself in culturally diverse cities and workplaces, Zach possesses a special knack for connecting with people from all walks of life. He’s excited about getting to know them, both personally and professionally, and helping them meet their real estate needs.
